Molly Brooks is the Wine Buyer and Director of Events at Meritage Wine Market in Encinitas. She has worked in wine sales & distribution, importing & distribution, restaurant wine list, events, retail program management, and consulting, in addition to volunteering to organize various wine industry events. Molly teaches in SDSU’s business of wine certificate program. She is an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, is WSET Level III Certified, a French Wine Scholar, Spanish Wine Scholar, Certified Sherry Wine Specialist, and Certified Cicerone. She holds a master’s degree in history from San Diego State University and a BA in history from Pitzer College in Los Angeles. She’s always in pursuit of life’s gastronomic and intellectual pleasures!
